The song "Revelation", which is the title track of the album, focuses on the attraction of the dark/evil and describes how difficult it is for humans to escape it. In a human society it seems so easy to spread hatred, fear and violence, while positive things/attitudes are desirable but hardly appreciated. The song refers to the gloomy in general, but also offers references to faith, the church in terms of freedom and fear, self-determination and coercion, which the construct "church" carries with it in many ways. Everyone is his own master and should reveal this certainty to himself. Our actions are in our hands.
